Perched on the 28th floor, this 55-foot oasis offers the perfect blend of indoor and outdoor relaxation, complete with breathtaking city views and an unforgettable atmosphere. Whether you're starting your morning with a serene swim or catching golden hour by the water, the rooftop pool at Hotel X Toronto is one of the city’s most coveted escapes. ☀

Below, you’ll find everything you need to know about reserving your slot at the rooftop pool, how to book, and tips to make the most of your rooftop pool experience.

Everything You Need to Know About Booking the Rooftop Pool

Picture this, you're lounging poolside, the sun is shining, the city skyline in the background, you take a refreshing dip in our temperature-controlled indoor/outdoor year-round pool.

Whether you're visiting during the vibrant summer months or in the cool of winter, our pool is open for registered hotel guests.

Daily | 7:00AM - 11:00PM

Adults Only Swim | 9:00PM - 11:00PM

Booking Requirements

2-hour time slots are available for reservation

Reservations are made upon check-in with the Front Desk staff

All long weekends from Victoria Day to Canadian Thanksgiving require a reservation

How to Make a Pool Reservation

Pool reservations are to be made upon check-in with our Front Desk staff

  • A 2-hour pool reservation can be booked for every room night booked at Hotel X
  • One pool reservation is for one individual
  • The number of pool reservations per room are limited to the number of occupants in a room
  • The number of occupants in a room vary by room type
  • While your booking secures pool access, loungers are not guaranteed

If you wish to extend your time beyond your 2-hour slot, you are welcome to do so if there is availability at that time. We ask that you please check with the pool attendant to extend your time slot and we will do our best to accommodate you.

Rooftop Pool Frequently Asked Questions

How do I know if a pool reservation is required during my stay?

2-hour pool reservations (weekends or weekdays) are required for stays during the follow dates, respectively:

  • Victoria Day Weekend - Canada Day Weekend | Reservations are required on weekends only
  • Canada Day Weekend - Labour Day Weekend | Reservations are required everyday (weekdays and weekends)
  • Labour Day Weekend - Canadian Thanksgiving Weekend | Reservations are required on weekends only

NOTE: All long weekends from Victoria Day to Canadian Thanksgiving require a reservation.

For stays outside of the above mentioned dates, pool reservations are not required.

How long can I reserve the pool?

Pool reservations are booked in 2-hour time slots.

How do I make a reservation for the rooftop pool during my stay?

Reservations can be made upon check-in with the Front Desk staff.

Does booking a pool reservation guarantee my a lounger on the pool deck?

Your reservation secures your access to the rooftop pool during your designated booking time, but it does not guarantee a lounger. Loungers are available on a first come, first serve basis.

Can I extend my pool reservation or book two, 2-hour time slots?

If you wish to extend your time beyond your 2-hour slot, you are welcome to do so if there is availability at that time. We ask that you please check with the pool attendant to extend your time slot and we will do our best to accommodate you. Guests may book one, 2-hour pool reservation for every room night booked.
